Speaking about the path chosen by each person, there's a post that has been circulating on the internet lately with the following content:
When a follower of Umbanda says: "May the orishas illuminate you"“
When a Catholic says, "May Mary, Mother of God, be with you,"“
when an evangelical says: “God bless you”
When a spiritualist says: "much light on your path"“
Accept, respect, and believe.
This person is wishing you well, based on what they were taught and believe.
Don't be resentful or arrogant.
Don't defend your religion by diminishing the faith of others.
The world is going through so many conflicts.
May we be promoters of peace and hope.
The Dangerous Farce of Religious Syncretism
Many, including those who call themselves Christians, have accepted the idea in the post, which only proves that they are not concerned with reading the Bible and learning about the person and work of Jesus.
If they did, they would see that He claimed to be the only way to the Father:
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”.
Peter, on the day of Pentecost, was equally clear in declaring that there is no salvation in any other way outside of Jesus:
And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.
Many argue in favor of the idea that "all roads lead to God" by distorting Jesus' statement that "“In my Father's house are many mansions.” (John 14:2).
Indeed, there are many mansions, but there are not many paths to reach them; this is something Jesus never said.
There is only one way: Christ himself.
Therefore, no true Christian could agree with what this post claims, unless their concept of "Christianity" is completely emptied of its original meaning.
In practical terms, we need to be clear:
- Churches don't save;
- Pastors don't save;
- Popes don't save;
- Priests don't save lives;
- Mary does not save;
- Saints don't save;
- Orishas don't save;
No one, absolutely no one, saves except Jesus.
Likewise, no one has the power to either facilitate or hinder salvation: the work is uniquely and entirely His, and anyone who reads the Bible honestly will have no other conclusion.
The Detour: Syncretism and the Unity of Religions
This idea of syncretism, that is, the mixing of religions, is not new.
It finds its roots in movements such as Sufism, which preaches the doctrine of the "Transcendent Unity of Religions".
According to this view, all religions, in the afterlife, would lead people to the same eternal destiny — a generic deity that has nothing to do with the God revealed in the Scriptures.
However, this theory has no chance of working in the real world.
If a follower of Umbanda tells an evangelical Christian, "May the orixás bless you," how can the evangelical, if they take their faith seriously, thank them or reciprocate if, in their opinion, Orishas are demons. And is there no other way or deity besides Christ?
As a Christian, regardless of their denomination, how can one thank or reciprocate a greeting from a Satanist who wishes them the blessing of their "master"?
Finally, how could a believer accept the blessing of a system that their own faith identifies as spiritually antagonistic?
This idea of "religious peace" can only work if all beliefs are relativized.
For a Christian, accepting this would mean denying that Jesus is the only Savior… and that would immediately and automatically make him a non-Christian!
Jesus was very specific about this impossible neutrality:
Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.
There is no neutrality or relativism when it comes to Jesus: either a person believes in Him and only in Him as Savior… or they are not truly a Christian, no matter how much they try to convince themselves otherwise, and under those conditions, they do not have salvation.
ICHTYS: The Code of Those Who Did Not Deny the Path
Unlike modern relativism, early Christians took the exclusivity of Christ so seriously that they preferred death to apostasy. Even under the violent persecution of the Roman Empire—which demanded devotion to pagan gods—they created a secret code to identify themselves.
Upon encountering a stranger, the Christian would draw a curved line on the ground.
If the other person didn't understand what it was about, the Christian would delete it and change the subject.
If the other person completed the drawing with another curve, the fish would be formed (ICHTYS, in Greek). This acrostic meant:“Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior”.
That is why, even today, the fish remains one of the most well-known symbols of Christianity, along with the cross.
For these martyrs, the path was not one option among many; it was an absolute fidelity that led them to face lions and bonfires rather than bow down to false gods.
They were not afraid of being labeled "exclusivists" or "enemies of peace," because they knew that true peace exists only in Christ.
The Sword of Christ and the Deception of World Peace
Even today, many who call themselves Christians fear being labeled as unfriendly or proselytizing if they declare that only Jesus saves.
That's why the idea of a viral post seems noble, but it's nothing more than a spiritual trap.
“But,” some will say, “doesn’t Jesus like peace?”.
No, not that way.
Jesus was clear in saying that His message would not bring a peace based on concessions, but a “sword”—a necessary separation between truth and error.
And you will be hated by all for my name’s sake; but he who endures to the end will be saved.
(…)
Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.;
For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law;
And so a man's enemies will be his own family.
This false idea that all paths lead to God is one of the pillars of the New World Order, which seeks to establish a single global government and a single global faith.
Biblically, accepting this unification means rejecting the exclusivity of Christ and, consequently, the very path to salvation.
As described in Revelation 13 and 14, The acceptance of a unified religious and political system will be the final decision of each individual: those who abandon the exclusivity of the Savior to conform to the world will seal their own eternal destiny.
The true peace of Jesus is not about being at peace with the world, but about having the assurance that no one can snatch us from His hands.
And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.
My Father, who gave them to me, is greater than all; and no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand.
That is why he said he was leaving his peace, which is not like the peace of the world.
I leave you peace; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. (John 14:27 – ACF)
The True Jesus Doesn't Accept Everything
Accepting what that post says is to deny that Jesus is the Son of God and the only Savior. And doing so in order not to displease men is to fall into what Paul anticipated:
I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel—;
Which is not another gospel; but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ.
But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed.
As we have already told you, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel other than the one you received, let them be under God’s curse!.
For am I now trying to persuade human beings, or God?
Or am I trying to please men?
If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.
The central issue was never about removing God from the "equation," but rather about removing the exclusivity of Christ.
The term "God" has become a generic concept in the modern world, but the Bible is specific: Jesus is the only way to the Father, and without Him, NO ONE can be saved.
The true Savior is open to receiving ALL, but by no means does He accept EVERYTHING: He invites us to come to Him as we are, but His grace is too powerful to leave us the same way.
I am not advocating affiliation with this or that church franchise because I myself, since 2011, have not been affiliated with any denomination: I do not preach about church affiliations nor do I believe in them, I believe in and preach the Scriptures, as well as the person and work of Jesus as revealed in them.
What strikes me is that some people say they agree with what the post says, but also that they will never stop being Catholic, or Evangelical, or Spiritist, or Hindu, or Muslim, or whatever doctrine they embrace.
Now, that's, at the very least, a major inconsistency: if all roads lead to the same place, what difference does your choice make now?
Isn't the final destination the same for every belief?
Apparently, the conviction in the idea presented in the post isn't that strong after all…
The truth is that accepting relativism to please men is to make oneself an enemy of God.
Adulterers and adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God?
Therefore, whoever wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
The Final Destination and the Mark Trap
The situation is far more serious than many realize. We are witnessing religions, currencies, and politics merging—a process already evident to those who follow independent media.
At the moment when this unification becomes mandatory, through technologies such as chips or electronic skin to control access to consumption (as per Revelation 13:16-18The choice made will be final.
It is crucial that each reader be aware: accepting this label of global unification means the definitive rejection of the person and work of Jesus.
There will be no turning back or regrets. for those who share the fate of the beast. As Scripture says:
And the smoke of their torment rises forever and ever;
And they have no rest day or night, those who worship the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name.

And the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who had performed the signs on its behalf, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped its image.
These two were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.
Accepting this mark is declaring oneself to belong to the world, to the devil, and as an enemy of God.
May Jesus, the one and only sufficient way, enlighten you to the truth through His Holy Spirit. There is no salvation outside of Him, and that will not change.
