Popularized by the influence of actors from a corrupt television network, a Christian might eventually be greeted with the word "Namaste".
To know the meaning of namaste And to understand how to correctly respond to such an expression, I have prepared this analysis, with a purely didactic intention and based on the Scriptures.

However, most likely, people of other religions will end up reading this and, without understanding such a restriction, will want to start some "whining" which, consequently, I warn you in advance, will be solemnly ignored, because there is no room for reinterpretation in this text... not even to be nice!
Proclaim, and come near, and take counsel together;
Who has been saying this since ancient times?
Who has announced it since then?
Am I not the Lord?
THEN There is no other God but Me.;
There is no God, just and a Savior, besides me.
I vividly remember the first time I was greeted with a "Namaste" and, because I didn't understand, I was speechless: I was only eighteen years old and still far from having even a minimally theological understanding.
It was a beautiful girl speaking, and I really wanted to be nice, so I smiled, accepted, and—"Lord forgive me!"—I replied with the same word…
It was a brief encounter—she scribbled on one of my magazines with a pen!
I thought she was wild, she thought I was unpleasant… and, after about two weeks of using it, that idiotic expression returned to the limbo from whence it came.
Seventeen years later, in 2009, I had a "déjà vu" when someone, out of nowhere, sent me a "namaste" right in the middle of my forehead!
I feared it was another terrorist scribbling in magazines, but it was just a viewer of the soap opera "Caminho das Índias" thinking he was more modern, intelligent, and interesting by greeting me that way.
Whether out of trauma or doubt, I replied with a curt "good morning".
At that time I was already a Teóphilo (a Brazilian slang term for someone who is very particular about their abilities) and I dismissed the (totally ridiculous and absurd) hypothesis that God needed so much self-esteem that he would greet himself… therefore, being a professional with a nagging feeling of unease, I went to research the real meaning of that expression.
The Meaning of “Namaste” and the Invasion of Sanskrit
Originating from Sanskrit—a language spoken in Nepal and India—the expression can mean "I bow before you" or "my attention and respect to you.".
But the "cherry on top"—that is, the preferred meaning people give to this expression—is:
The God who dwells within me
Greet the God who dwells within you.
This can be easily verified in publications from esoteric websites such as the “Center for Spiritual Studies Masters of Light”or the trendy and politically correct text that Ruth Manus published in Estadão., But it's also interesting to see the passion and feigned superiority—disguised and called humility—in the explanation given by actor Miguel Falabella (link to the video is below):

Under biblical rigor, we are faced with a blatant declaration of Anthropotheism: the attempt to deify the creature, ignoring that the body is the Sanctuary of the Holy Spirit and the exclusive property of the Creator.
Divine Entities and False Tolerance
Look to me, and be saved, all you ends of the earth;
Because I am God, AND THERE IS NO OTHER.
Unfortunately, this is the type of conflict where something that (only) SEEMS GOOD clashes head-on with the recommendations left by God through His Word.
If you claim to be a Christian, understand this: NEVER, under any circumstances, use that expression!
The God that dwells within you is COMPLETELY INCOMPATIBLE with this politically correct pretense of appeasing humanity by leveling everything down through anthropotheism!
As already explained in my analysis of the marks on the body, If your body is the Sanctuary, the rules of conduct and greeting belong to the Lord. Attempting to “personalize” spirituality through syncretic greetings is, ultimately, an act of insurrection against the Owner. I support my argument with a “short burst” of fundamental references, initially from the Old Testament:
You shall have no other gods before me.
You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.
You shall not bow down to them or serve them;
because I, the Lord your God, am God. zealous, I visit the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me.
You shall not bow down before their gods.,
nor shall you serve them,
nor shall you do according to their works;
before you destroy them completely,
and you shall break their statues in pieces.
So that you do not go among these nations that remain with you;
and do not mention the names of their gods,
nor make anyone swear by them,
nor the servants,
Do not bow down to them either.
Now, if a servant is expressly forbidden to show reverence, reference, or even bow down to other gods, it is obvious that the Lord God would NEVER validate a greeting where the Creator supposedly bows before any other "god," whatever the pretext: sympathy, reverence, or greeting.
The term "zealous," which appears in the first transcribed passage, also means "jealous" and carries the weight of a God who does not share his glory!
I see people who, for fear of a spouse's jealousy, avoid even casual glances on the street—no smiles, no unnecessary conversations, no jokes—so as not to jeopardize the exclusivity of the relationship.
But, in relation to the Lord God, it seems that betrayal is considered a "social courtesy": all it takes is for a pestilent (and habitually blasphemous) broadcaster to concoct a soap opera plot for almost everyone to jump on the bandwagon with the "namaste" gesture, ignoring that the body they use doesn't even belong to them.
The Fallacy of Human Peace and the Table of Demons
The anthropocentric argument is not bad, and as proof, I will transcribe two paragraphs from the modernist analysis I mentioned:
I have great difficulty understanding the idea that any God could dictate acts of marginalization, aggression, or even death.
This looks much more like the work of men, governments, and churches than of God.

This view is the pinnacle of anthropotheism: man attempting to dictate what God should be based on his own concepts of goodness.
Beyond all the typical confusion of those who are unable to discern between "churches" (franchises and church businessesThe words "God" and "Church" (Body of Christ) are sweet words that seduce those who lack conviction in the sovereignty of a single, powerful Creator.
As we have already established, the Christian's body is not an extension of his own will, but a private property of God.
Without this foundation of understanding, the individual attempts to apply human concepts to a place of worship that belongs to the Lord.
These peace intentions They ignore the spiritual reality and prophetic destiny of this world, sounding as if it were possible for humankind to nullify the eternal plan of salvation by reconciling God and demons.
Yes, now it's time to start speaking the truth bluntly: demons.
Divine Entities: The Danger of Syncretism and the Table of Demons
In primordial times, when there was only Israel (which, theoretically, should serve only God) and the "other nations" (Gentiles, who took anything to serve as their gods), a definition was given, duly revalidated by the apostle Paul, which remains valid to this day:
Rather, I say that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons and not to God.
And I don't want you to be in league with demons.
You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons;
You cannot partake of the Lord's table and the table of demons.
When the author states that she would "bet heavily" on inert pacifism in the name of God, she only demonstrates her complete ignorance about the Creator and, worse than that, assumes the role of spiritual legislator and, from there, makes decisions and resolutions full of good intentions, but... absolutely devoid of God!
She is no exception.
She's doing what most people do, especially some "Christians" who, even though they have an obligation to know the Word, reject it under the pretext of "winning souls"... it's just not clear for which god.
One detail of extreme importance, yet ignored by many:“GOD”"It's not a name!"
This word designates only one function or position, and anyone or anything can assume that role.
There are those who serve the "dog god," passing through the "belly button god" and reaching the powerful "money god": as shown 1ˢᵗ Corinthians 10:20-21, There are millions who are being deceived—or deliberately choosing—to have demons as their gods!
The One Creator and the Lie of Tolerance
The true and only Creator is also the true and only God, and, inspiring mankind throughout the ages, has left behind His immutable recommendations:
You shall fear the Lord your God and serve Him, and by His name you shall swear.
You shall not follow other gods.,
The gods of the peoples who are around you;
For the Lord your God is a jealous God in your midst,
so that the anger of the LORD your God may not burn against you and destroy you from the face of the earth.
For great is the Lord,
and most worthy of praise,
And he is more fearsome than all the gods.
Because all the gods of the peoples are idols;
although The Lord made the heavens..
But if anyone loves God, he is known by Him.
Therefore, concerning the eating of things sacrificed to idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no other God but one.
For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as indeed there are many gods and many lords),
Still For us there is only one God, the Father., WHOSE EVERYTHING IS IT and for whom we live;
and one Lord, Jesus Christ,
Through whom are all things, and we through him.
Creatures, however powerful they may seem to us (including nature), cannot supplant the Creator!
I saw no need to transcribe the many Old Testament passages where there are unequivocal instructions regarding the destruction of images, altars, peoples, and even family members who serve other gods: chronologically speaking, Christ fulfilled the Law. and spared us these utterly unpleasant and unpopular tasks, leaving them to be performed only at the right time.
But isn't Jesus Christ the "ultimate good guy"?!? The pacifist who loves everyone and accepts everything in the name of love?
Well... that's what the educational system, and especially the media, insists on presenting and reinforcing at every opportunity, but things aren't quite like that.
The Lord Jesus Christ also had some of his words recorded so as to leave no doubt about his position on this matter:
Jesus said to him:
I am the way, and the truth, and the life;
NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER, IF NOT FOR ME.
Therefore, whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven.
But whoever denies me before men, I will also deny him before my Father who is in heaven.
Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.;
For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law;
And so a man's enemies will be his own family.
Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me;
And whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
And whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me.
Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.
Don't be alarmed, but the Lord Jesus Christ was never the inert, good-natured figure that many, especially those on the left, are always trying to portray in their inclusive and egalitarian speeches.
It becomes quite clear, in the first passage highlighted above, that He would not bow down, not even out of politeness, before anyone else who presents themselves as an "alternative way" to the Father... He wouldn't even be tolerant!
In fact, the fallacy that Christ would tolerate or even encourage any sinful practices only deceives people who know the Word of God through the humanistic fables promoted out there.
Anyone who bothers to check for themselves will know that, at the end of each episode, the Lord always says "unpleasant" things like: "go, sell everything you have," "let a man deny himself," or "go and sin no more!"
Ultimately, no matter how many paths exist and are presented to us, Christ was the only one in all of human history who had the courage to stand up and declare himself to be THE ONLY ONE, being absolutely intolerant on this issue, completely disregarding and rejecting any other possibilities and destroying any attempt at ecumenism or interreligious dialogue.
Divine Conflict: The Bankruptcy of Ecclesiastical Enterprises
Very close to my house there's a corner with no less than five – that's right, FIVE! – ecclesiastical businesses that offer products with an "evangelical" flavor.
They had already closed seven, but two (one that operated in what had been a smelly bar and another that during the day functioned as an auto repair shop) closed their doors… and it was precisely these bankruptcies that led me to realize that there is something completely wrong with the current concept of church:
- If the Church is the body of Christ, what is the need for us to have five, practically side by side, competing for followers?
- If the gospel preaches sharing resources with those in need, why didn't the businesses that closed down receive help from their neighbors? Weren't they all promoting the same Lord?
Now, dear reader, the time of apostasy It is already present.
It is no longer wise to remain blind to reality: selling an "invisible product" through ritualistic and syncretic theatricality has become a commonplace form of spiritual fraud.
Ultimately, in these structures, you don't even need to believe in what you're representing: just dress a certain way, insert "gospel" expressions and – voilà! – an evangelical jerk appears!
If the space is an old, smelly bar or amidst the oil and soot stains left over from a mechanic's workshop... the "magic" is completed by someone flaunting the title of "paxtô," who has been granted the right to collect tithes and offerings!
In the end, God is truly powerful. And He can act where, when, and in whatever way He sees fit, BUT if the miracle never comes, the blame will always fall on the believer who, despite planting many "seeds," did not have enough faith…
FIND OUT WHO LIVES THERE PEOPLE WHO
They believe in God.,
BUT WITHOUT KNOWING THE SCRIPTURES
It was that intersection that brought me to a definitive question: if everyone serves the same God, why isn't there a common doctrine based strictly on Scripture?
The answer is bitter: each of these establishments is promoting its own particular “god” — an idol hungry for financial demonstrations whose reach never extends to the heavens, remaining limited to the pockets of the merchants of faith.
This is deplorable.
If even the “gods” of this world are capable of “namasteing” each other in the name of tolerance and profit, then the“Jesus”"Preached in these hovels, it ends up being just another piece on the chessboard of syncretism, acting against the true Christ who does not share His glory with anyone.".
The Destiny of the Gods and the Exclusivity of Christ
After all the clarification I have tried to present above, it only remains to make clear the fate that the Lord God promised to those who choose to take other things as their gods, as well as to the gods themselves:
And I will destroy your high places,
and I will destroy your images,
And I will cast your corpses upon the corpses of your gods.;
My soul will be weary of you.
But the Lord God is truth;
He himself is the living God and the eternal King;
At his wrath the earth trembles, and the nations cannot endure his indignation.
Thus you shall say to them:
The gods who did not make the heavens and the earth will disappear from the earth and from under this heaven.

It doesn't matter that there are five million paths a human being can take—some of which could actually improve their quality of life—the fact is that, among them all, only one is the true path, and all the others lead to eternal death.
I apologize for being so emphatic, dear reader, but neither your kindness nor your gods will be able to deliver you from the hands of the one true God, whose prophetic word, incidentally, is being fulfilled.
Do Christians Say "Namaste"? The Truth Answer
I've seen some other texts about "namaste," but I haven't found any like this one, where I strive to provide many biblical references and, therefore, solid and irrefutable arguments to support the arguments that legitimate Christians should present against all the esoteric/mystical/diabolical rubbish that humanity may have invented!
If you are truly a Christian, So, from now on, you are fully aware and ashamed that "namaste" is not a word to be included in your vocabulary.
As we saw in the defense of God's property, your body is the Sanctuary and does not belong to yourself. The God who dwells within you would in no way bow down—nor would He allow you to bow down—under any pretext, before any other god whatsoever.
I am the LORD;
This is my name;
I will not give my glory to another., nor my praise for graven images.
That's why I've been telling you about it since then.,
And I made you hear it before it happened.,
so that you would not say:
My idol did these things.,
and my image as a sculpture,
and my casting image sent them.

And what if someone uses "namaste" to greet you?, The correct thing for you, as a Christian, to do would be to use 2ⁿᵈ Thessalonians 2:8 e Revelation 20:10 to (even if only in your spirit) answer:
The God who dwells in me will destroy the god who dwells in you with the breath of his mouth, he will annihilate him by the splendor of his coming; and he will be thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet will also be; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

The adversary of our souls perfectly understands the destiny reserved for him, his angels, and his followers, and therefore developed this discourse of tolerance and diversity which he set in motion about two centuries ago: how else could he persecute and exterminate Christians—something prophetically foretold—and establish his reign in this world?
Let's remain resilient, because what we see now is going to get much worse...
