Truth Set

There I was, accompanied by a brother and sister who showed me around the wonderful city of São Paulo all day, in the Ruy Barbosa auditorium at Mackenzie University to attend a lecture by the Christian philosopher William Lane Craig — “the man Richard Dawkins didn’t want to debate!” — to find out how far or close we might be to what I call the “Truth Set”.
I remember the date perfectly because something happened there that changed my mind forever.

As soon as I read a question full of trickery and imbued with the highest intellectual brilliance, I immediately turned to my friends and whispered: good heavens!, There are simply things that God doesn't want us to know yet!
The philosopher, who relied on a translator, absorbed the question slowly, looking as if he were about to face a major obstacle, and, once the question was conveyed, spent long minutes developing a line of reasoning so full of references and minutiae that the translator sometimes had to take a long time stringing the words together to make sense of them…
In the end, a fantastic conclusion was reached: There are simply things that God doesn't want us to know yet!
At that moment, faced with the perfect coincidence of answers, a light shone and I understood that if I depend on deceiving people to appear intellectually superior and make money... I'm going to die quite poor!

For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's own spirit within him?
Likewise, no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.

(1 Corinthians 2:11)

I am the worst person in the world for anyone who wants to feel more than they really are: I admit to being politically incorrect, I call sin "sin," heretics "children of the devil," and, on top of that, I've given up beating around the bush or not saying everything I have to say. I've learned to recognize my complete inability to perform the "after-sales" of the gospel: if the role of convincing human beings of sin, righteousness, and judgment belongs entirely to the Holy Spirit, it won't be my raspy voice that will do it better than Him!
But, to the surprise of some and the dismay of others, there are things I no longer discuss or take sides on because they are contained within a "Truth Set," which has nothing to do with a music band, but is a very important mathematical concept that allows for several interpretations—even distinct ones—and which will be used extensively in my future publications. In my last post I made a point of addressing the Rapture Because it is one of the most perfect examples of how much energy can be wasted on completely useless debates, discussions, and even fights: as I mentioned there, a perspective from pre-tribulationists—some of whom may even abandon their faith in the face of the ordeal—and I try to imagine the unlikely complaint of some post-tribulationist upon being spared if the rapture occurs before the suffering:
No! I'm not going! I refuse to be taken away before going through all the suffering I've prepared myself for!! Everyone can go, I'm staying here… I'm super!!!
The fact is that both believe in the Lord and His return, but something has been sowing such contention throughout history, and beyond the gospel itself, there are those who want to link salvation to the type of interpretative expectation that the individual has regarding Christ's return!

Beyond this unnecessary contention within the "truth body," there still exists the group of unbelievers—from whom we hear phrases like "Jesus didn't exist," "Jesus was just like the others," or "Jesus isn't coming back"...
Although the most sordid These are the people who, claiming to be Christians, invented a fable that Jesus has already returned—without fulfilling the prophecies??—and that these terrible days we are living through are already part of the promised “millennial reign of Christ,” described in Revelation 20!
Some of these people are even gleefully promoting the widespread acceptance of all the human degradation we have witnessed, claiming that it is all part of the reign… only if it is already the reign of the Antichrist!
Particularly those latter groups, who are completely outside the acceptable biblical spectrum, we must identify, expose the deceptions they promote, and fearlessly call them what they truly are: heretics and children of Satan.

Brothers and sisters, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to him,
We urge you not to be so easily shaken or alarmed,
whether by prophecy, or by word, or by letter supposedly from us,
as if the day of the Lord had already arrived.
Don't let anyone deceive you in any way.
Before that day comes the apostasy.
And then the man of sin will be revealed, the son of perdition.
This one opposes and exalts itself above all that is called God or is an object of worship.,
even going so far as to sit down in the sanctuary of God,
proclaiming that he himself is God.

(2 Thessalonians 2:1-4)

To conclude this matter, I emphasize that those who have faith will not be held hostage by the media—any media—to know that some prophecy is being fulfilled: everything will be quite cataclysmic, gigantic, and in some cases, even trumpets will sound so that everyone—even the deaf like me!—can hear.
Those who don't believe will swallow and be satisfied with whatever pathetic interpretation is offered by scientists, the press, or NASA…

I reaffirm that it is of little or no use to me to speculate about who the likely antichrist of the moment is, what Satan's servants are plotting through their rituals and media symbolism—direct or subliminal—or how the training of the priests of the third temple is going: if it is prophetic, it will be fulfilled and no one will be able to do anything to stop it; if it is not, it will amount to nothing and disappear, only causing a waste of time for eschatological paranoids.
So, simply put, I DON'T WANT TO KNOW, and what matters to me is seeking knowledge of the Word God has left for us so that my faith may be strengthened amidst adversity, and, by writing here, sharing it with those who can understand and be strengthened: all the protection we need can only come, in due time, from the Lord!

You surrounded me behind and before,
and you laid your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is absolutely wonderful to me;
so high that I can't reach it.

(Psalm 139:5-6)

Note that this is not a surrender to the opponent: on the contrary!
Satan knows that the moment when he will be cast into the lake of fire and brimstone is approaching and that there is no escape, so he is doing everything to cause the worst suffering and the greatest dishonor among humanity: "possession" is not only when a demon manifests supernaturally through the channeling of a human body!
At this very moment there are thousands of people emotionally possessed Within ecclesiastical institutions, people cry and "pour out their hearts" during utterly anthropocentric rituals, devoid of any biblical basis, and where the alteration of the natural state of consciousness is promoted in a manner similar to those who promote rituals dedicated to any other gods!
At this very moment there are hordes of creatures. intellectually possessed And just as Adam and Eve believed they had the same rights as the Lord God, they are out there in open rebellion against Him, thinking that humanity has the power to create some kind of "equal and better world" by uniting in shared misery...

And what about classic possession? What are these spiritual entities? What are some of their characteristics?
How are those who have no religious involvement being possessed?
What techniques and resources might be being used for possession?
Can we identify someone who has been or is being remotely influenced or controlled?
What basis does the Bible actually give us for recognizing and protecting ourselves against this?
Why, even in the face of so much misfortune and the growth of evil, can no one or nothing do anything? to surprise the Lord God?

Because my thoughts are not your thoughts,
"Neither your ways nor my ways," declares the Lord.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
My ways are higher than your ways,
And my thoughts are higher than your thoughts.

(Isaiah 55:8-9)

These are some of the topics that, without straying from the general truth, I intend to address in future posts, as I will be able to keep this one short, in accordance with the blog's original purpose!
