Imagine (John Lennon)

Análise Cristã: Por Fora Bela Viola, Por Dentro…

This is Friday's post, the gateway to the weekend and a day when many people take the opportunity to relax in various ways: before I went deaf I really enjoyed listening to music and without a doubt, it's one of the things I miss the most.
I decided to intersperse the series of articles and Bible studies I've been developing to introduce a "bonus" type of occasional post: music analysis, with "Imagine" by John Lennon being the subject of this post.

The Anthem of a Generation: Why Does “Imagine” Still Resonate?

In March 2011, I published an analysis of John Lennon's saccharine song "Imagine," exposing how satanic its content is and how directly this song is used by the Creator's adversary to prepare people to accept the reign of the one who rises up against all that is called God and who will sit as God in the temple of God, wanting to appear as God.
This week I came across a Rolling Stone magazine article containing the following information (I'll publish the translation shortly):

Lennon himself described "Imagine" as "virtually the Communist Manifesto, although I'm not particularly a communist and don't belong to any movement. But because it's sugar-coated, it's accepted."“
Released as a single in the US in the fall of 1971, “Imagine” reached number three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart: “Now I understand what you have to do,” Lennon observed, “convey your political message with a little honey.”.

Rolling Stone

Undoubtedly, many people who have recently started following me are unaware of this, and even I (because I also forget things) — shortly before being honored at the São Paulo City Council, at the request of a friend that was reinforced by my own sister — almost agreed to prepare a video wrapped in this poisonous trap, and worse than that, I would have been joined by a choir of deaf people who would sing it!

Now, reviewing the original text, I feel a great relief that I didn't do that...or sing!
I also noticed that my view at the time considered Satanism to be something distinct from Communism, perhaps not believing that the ultimate goal of the red doctrines is the enthronement of Satan himself.
As the author, allow me to present the content in its entirety and, at the end, add only a few closing notes:

I started listening to the radio again.
After a long time without listening to the radio, I found some online and was even able to select my preferred musical style from the stations, and don't be surprised, none of that current gospel garbage is among my favorites.
Gospel music should be sacred, that is, holy: something that promotes respectful reverence for the Lord God, with lyrics based on the Bible… music with content totally distinct from secular and, even more so, from profane music.

But I've come across a famous singer confusing intercession with prayer and, to make matters worse, ordering the Holy Spirit to pray for her… without much effort! If you pay attention, it only gets worse from there!
The thing is, I decided to listen to secular radio stations anyway, but always with my "suspicion meter" wide open, because if Christian stations don't know what's sacred, these stations commonly mix the secular and the profane indiscriminately.

Then, one early morning when sleep was eluding me, John Lennon's famous song, Imagine, began to play…
For the first time in my life, I paid attention to all the diabolical wickedness that is blatantly revealed in this sordid lyric, framed by a beautiful melody that sticks in the mind of anyone who has heard it.
I imagine someone has already done a good, detailed analysis of this anthem to the New World Order, but I searched and found nothing specific. That's why I decided to present this analysis of what the infamous servant of Satan, John Lennon, has been preaching since 1971.

“"Imagine no heaven": The Denial of Eternal Hope

FIRST STANZA

The premise of the song, in light of the Word of God, is already absurd: Imagine there's no heaven. (Imagine that paradise doesn't exist)!!
Therefore, the non-existence of a paradise directly implies the non-existence of God himself!

Using the Almeida Corrigida and Fiel versions / King James, Let us see what the Lord Jesus Christ has to say about the location of our Father:

Therefore, be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect.
(Matthew 5:48)

It is not only in this passage, but in many others, that the Lord Jesus Christ repeatedly mentions that "The Father IS IN HEAVEN," that is, "heavens.".
Therefore, if "heaven" doesn't exist, Jesus would be lying and, consequently, there would be no father either... and this seemingly "simple" statement is just the premise of the entire song!
The boy from Liverpool claims that, if you try, it's easy to throw God out of your life and, still in the first verse, adds one of Satan's own favorite arguments: "there is no hell"!!

I made this whole comparison because I came to believe that there might be a physical interpretation for the term "heaven," but it becomes clear how discerning this servant of Satan is regarding such a distinction, vehemently denying "heaven" while tacitly accepting the "sky" above us... he knows very well how to distinguish the spiritual from the material.

Thus, when the phrase "living for today" is mentioned, the intention is to indicate a path of hedonism that would justify any practices in the name of "gratification now," a banner raised, for example, by many LGBTQ+ activists who, not believing in the coming judgment promised in the Bible, fulfill their desires as if there were no tomorrow.
So far we have a clear analysis of what was said in just the first stanza…

SECOND STANZA

The second verse isn't even that terrible, because the concept of "country" isn't really that useful, and it certainly won't last forever, according to God's own Word:

And the Lord of hosts will make for all peoples on this mountain a feast of rich food, a feast of aged wine, of rich marrow, and of aged wine well refined. And he will destroy on this mountain the covering that is spread over all peoples, the veil that is spread over all nations.
(Isaiah 25:6-7)

But don't forget that it is the Lord God himself who will destroy the veil that covers the nations, and that this will not be a consequence of well-intentioned human movements for peace and the end of wars…
The human attempt to take control and anticipate certain events ends up being just a "well-intentioned" way of treading the very same path to perdition that leads to a single hell!

In this second part, there is also mention of the "end of religions," which some may even consider revolutionary... but if they think that way, it's because they don't know the Bible, which, thousands of years before John Lennon, already recorded the futility of so many religions:

If anyone among you considers himself religious and does not bridle his tongue,
first deceive your own heart,
His religion is vain.
Pure and undefiled religion before God the Father is this:
To visit orphans and widows in their affliction,
and guard against the corruption of the world.
(James 1:26-27)

Why so many religions, and in the case of Protestants, why so many denominations?!
In the case of religious pluralism, I can affirm that it is a direct product of Satan's cunning.
In the denominational case, however... we have, to a large extent, the revelation of simple and sordid human greed!
One way or another, we have here a brilliant example of how Satan (taking advantage of human confusion) creates a problem (religious pluralism), blames God (throughout the centuries), and then finds a possessed individual (in this case, John Lennon) to present the solution as if it were a revolutionary and brilliant idea, capable of bringing "peace" to the world!

THIRD STANZA

And then comes the chorus, but since it signifies the "climax" and is repeated, I'll leave it for the end.
Let's understand that this third stanza presents purely and simply a "perfect" society, one that transcends even the essence of the socialist/communist concept.

I, personally, really like the account of an alleged experiment put into practice by Pastor Adrian Pierce Rogers, but (upon delving deeper into this topic) I ended up discovering that there are controversies, including a somewhat pertinent refutation in defense of socialism… nothing that convinced me to wear red (just as I don't wear any other "shirt" besides the search for Truth through the Bible).

John Lennon and Yoko Ono in bed, while a maid tidies the room. An iconic image of the hypocrisy behind the utopia of 'Imagine'.'

In any case, John Lennon extrapolates all these concepts and abolishes possessions, so that all of humanity has access to everything and is treated with perfect equality… does the Bible agree with this concept?!

John and Yoko are waiting for the maid to make the bed in a very expensive hotel so they can then comfortably continue preaching about "a world without possessions"...

Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.;
But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
(Matthew 6:19-21)
For the Son of Man will come in the glory of his Father with his angels;
and then he will repay each person according to their deeds.
(Matthew 16:27)
And I heard a voice from heaven saying to me:
He writes:
Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.
Yes, says the Spirit, so that they may rest from their labors, and their deeds follow them.
(Revelation 14:13)

Understand that I am not talking about salvation, but when the coming and perfect kingdom of God is established by Him (and not by humanity!), the rewards will be (without the slightest shadow of a doubt) distributed DIFFERENTLY among those who worked more (or less) for the Lord here on earth: in the Bible we have the parable of the invested money (Matthew 25:14-30That proves I'm not lying!
Therefore, we can be certain that the beautiful utopian concept presented by John Lennon in the third verse can only refer to a kingdom completely different from that of God, but... whose world would that be, so perfect, peaceful, just, and pleasant?
The answer is indicated in the refrain…

Lennon's Humanist Utopia vs. the Reality of the Gospel

CHORUS

As we have seen, the premise of this song is that the non-existence of God would imply a "better world," but its core, the chorus, cunningly and not so subtly points to what would be a likely solution; one only needs to analyze its "innocent" phrases:

“You might say I’m a dreamer”: this talk of dreams is actually a very shallow argument that has been used throughout history, and it’s sad to see people like a certain “pastor” Ludmila wearing men’s pants to sing, along with a priest, about improbable “dreams from God” (and, even worse, various categories of anointing!), on a Sunday afternoon, on a program manipulated by a station that is openly hostile to the genuine gospel (this even justifies this station being a partner of Lagoinha!! It makes perfect sense!)
The truth, my dear friends, is that God does NOT DREAM: HE DECIDES!!

I am not suggesting that we should be merely passive elements throughout our existence, but rather that we should learn, first and foremost, to recognize what the Lord determines (according to His manifold grace) in our lives and strive to accept and fulfill those designs.

A man's heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps. (...)
A man's steps are directed by the Lord; how then can a man understand his own way?
(Proverbs 16:9 / 20:24)

To give free rein to one's dreams without seeking true biblical support is to fulfill one's desires, that is, to walk contrary to the Word.

But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.
(Romans 13:14)
I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
(…)
And those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
(Galatians 5:16 and 24)

This song proves that any dream, no matter how well-intentioned it may seem, can be a unique and direct way to go to hell, taking many other "well-intentioned" people with it!
This includes those who "dream" of "being pastors," "being female pastors" (even worse!!!), founding a church (yet another ecclesiastical enterprise?!)... how often is all this nothing more than pure fulfillment of EGO and vanity?

“"But I'm not the only one."”This is where those who detest so-called "conspiracy theories" should start to worry, because the most famous of the Beatles is GUARANTEEING that he is not the only one "dreaming" about this, and I hope he can realize that he did much more than just dream: the fact that he composed, produced, and released this song is proof that this movement is in full swing and, disguised as a dream, has conquered the world, seducing and converting the unwary so that, together, they begin to "dream" in exactly the same way!

The other possibility contained in this statement is that there is an organized movement of "dreamers," conspiring (obviously in vain) against God and the inexorability of the fulfillment of His plans! The following sentence only confirms this suspicion…

“"I hope that one day you will join us."”Well then! Who are these "we"?!?
Taking into account the entire gigantic industrial process involved until this song was released (this, I remind you, in 1971!), we then have a large and organized army involved in converting new "dreamers" and in making this "dream" a reality!
Are these people surprising the Lord God?
Could this be a move He hadn't foreseen?
If we think like the apostate Ricardo Gondim (which already fell from the roof (For some time now…), God would live being surprised by the events that follow one another, but… I don't think it's quite like that:

Why do the nations rage, and the peoples plot in vain?
The kings of the earth rise up, and the rulers band together against the Lord and against his anointed, saying:
Let us break their bonds and cast off their cords from us.
He who dwells in the heavens will laugh;
The Lord will mock them.
Then he will speak to them in his anger, and terrify them in his fury.
(Psalm 2:1-5)

Contrary to what some pastors and bishops preach, the passage above does not say that after this rebellion the Lord will fraternize with this humanity, nor will He reward it with the establishment of His kingdom: after mocking them, He will speak to them in His wrath and trouble them in His fury!!!
The mere act of joining this army will make you a loser by default, given that this enlistment requires an explicit declaration of NO BELIEF IN GOD so that there may be "peace on earth," therefore:

Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved;
But whoever does not believe will be condemned.
(Mark 16:16)
Therefore, whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven.
But whoever denies me before men, I will also deny him before my Father who is in heaven. Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth;
I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.
(Matthew 10:32-34)

It's almost unbelievable how precisely people like John Lennon can quote and meticulously refute the Bible, while many who call themselves "Christians" don't even know how to handle it correctly: "What a great army of Jesus we have today..."

“"And the world will be as one."”This sentence is the real icing on the cake!!!
Does anyone still want a better statement about the New World Order than this?!
I've already talked about the consequences stemming from the "Tower of Babel" event, mainly in a post I published about... Bradesco and Santander banks. At the time, I found nothing linking Itaú bank (Pedra Preta branch) to them, but today, after this analysis, I've found the common ground between them. See the video below:

What a lovely invitation from Itaú, right?
Who, having read this far, thinks the song "Imagine" was chosen by chance?
The ultra-conspiracy-minded crowd will enjoy reading the A thorough analysis of this commercial in "Total Apocalypse"“, Because he always manages to see details that, even when explained, I often don't think are there...

Conclusion: Why does the Utopia of "Imagine" fail?

There's no arguing with facts, therefore:

1. If John Lennon composed, produced, sang, published, promoted… did everything he did for the sake of “Imagine,” we cannot consider him innocent: he is an element that (consciously or not) acted in favor of Satan and the establishment of the coming kingdom of the Antichrist.
Such behavior implies that, most likely, his entire body of work is permeated with profanity. I even know it is, but since I haven't conducted such a thorough analysis of his other works, I prefer not to say for sure…
In any case, as a Christian and using the Bible as a measure, I have the authority to judge him (at the very least) as a "slanderer":

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God?
Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
(1ˢᵗ Corinthians 6:9-10)

These words are not mine, but, in light of them, I can even pronounce a sentence: genuine Christians must distance themselves from the works he produced, at the risk of incurring heresy.

Now I Know

While John Lennon sweetened his poison,
A ZERO BAND AND PAULO RICARDO They opened wide.
ALL OF YOURS HATE AND CONTEMPT
Through Jesus Christ and the Gospel…

NOW I KNOW

Another thing that bothers people (especially those who don't believe in God or know Him) is the possibility of having almost certainty about the fate of their soul, given the lack of foundation surrounding such a thing.“legend of the last moment”...as well as the speed and unpredictability surrounding his sudden death: unfortunately, a murderer has already sent him to his final destination, and without a doubt, this too is a condemnable attitude according to the Word of God.

But as for the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur.;
What is the second death?.
(Revelation 21:8)

O judgment of a genuine Christian It will never involve stonings, crucifixions... the most that can happen is a reduction in profits.
This is something the world will never understand…

2. As I said at the beginning of the text, I allow myself to listen to secular music, but I avoid profane music as soon as I recognize it. This requires something that people of our time don't want to do: mental work!

Many people write to me asking what songs/singers/bands I recommend…
Good heavens! My musical preferences are not your musical preferences! Listen to what you like, but always with an attentive mind, ready to discern!
Take my case: I spent my whole life listening to "Imagine" carelessly, and now I'm sure it's nothing more than a hymn to, if not humanity, then Satan himself!
Moreover, the melody and harmony are beautiful, unlike most musical output today…

Therefore, understand the effort I am making to remove this song from my life, from my mind, to avoid singing it distractedly… can a Christian serve two masters? I am emphatically certain that NO!!

Therefore, dear readers, take care of what you are listening to and don't try to blame others for your right or wrong choices. Of course, I encourage my brothers and sisters to share when they discover absurdities like "Imagine," analyzed in this post, but definitely, nobody can know everything, especially without taking the trouble to analyze…

3. Contrary to what some heretics like Hermes Fernandes say (even in the statutes of their sects) that "all art is inspired by God," I can conclusively state, even though I don't like how it will sound, that "Imagine," given the objectives it serves, is a song of the devil.

No one can serve two masters;
For either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other.
You cannot serve both God and Mammon.
(Matthew 6:24)
Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers;
Because what kind of society has justice alongside injustice?
What fellowship can light have with darkness?
What harmony is there between Christ and Belial?
Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?
What agreement has the temple of God with idols?
For you are the temple of the living God; as God has said: “I will make my dwelling among them and walk among them;”;
And I will be their God, and they will be my people.
(2ⁿᵈ Corinthians 6:14-16)

Finally, I leave you with some biblical recommendations:

Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation;
The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
(Matthew 26:41)
The end of all things is near;
Therefore, be sober and vigilant in prayer.
(1ˢᵗ Peter 4:7)
