In light of so many terrible things that have afflicted Brazil and the rest of the world\u2014including the monstrous governmental oppression that, in the name of things like "peace," "security," and "health," has condemned working citizens to hunger\u2014I decided to seek an answer to a very important question: how should Christians pray for their rulers?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I therefore admonish you, first of all<\/span>,<\/mark>
that requests be made, prayers, intercessions<\/strong>, and thanksgiving, for all men;<\/mark>
by the kings, and all those in authority<\/span><\/span>,<\/mark>
so that we may live a quiet and peaceful life in all godliness and holiness. HONESTY<\/span>;<\/mark>
because this is good and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior.<\/mark><\/span>r.<\/mark><\/p>\n(1\u02e2\u1d57 Timothy 2:1\u20133 \u2013 ACF)<\/strong><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n\n\n

There is a pernicious type of instruction interspersed among Christians, especially evangelicals, that completely departs from biblical recommendations and enslaves them under the shackles of Satan himself\u2026 and that is what I will address in this text, highlighting the WORDS in the transcribed passages to facilitate understanding and ALWAYS prioritizing the summary of the first of the 10 commandments that commands us to LOVE THE LORD GOD ABOVE ALL OTHER THINGS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having your conduct honorable among the Gentiles;<\/span>
so that, in the very thing in which they speak evil of you as evildoers, they may glorify God on the day of visitation, through the good works which they observe in you.<\/span>
Therefore, submit yourselves to every human ordinance for the Lord's sake;<\/span>
whether to the king, as superior; or to the governors,<\/span>
as by Him sent to punish wrongdoers<\/span>,<\/span>
e In praise of those who do good.<\/span>.<\/span>
For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people.;<\/span>
Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as servants of God.<\/span>
HONOR EVERYONE.<\/span>
Love brotherhood.<\/span>
Fear God.<\/span>

GOVERNMENT MODELS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Before proceeding, and regarding models of government, we need to make it very clear that in a MONARCHY<\/strong> the king is considered to be an envoy of God himself, while in DEMOCRACY<\/strong> \u2014 and despite possible fraud \u2014 the election result ends up being a PERMISSION from God, with all the mechanisms inherent to the current model applying, including "impeachment" in constitutionally foreseen cases.
So, to make it clear and easier to understand even for those who are functionally illiterate, every highest authority in a given region can be likened to a king: the president is the "king" of a nation, the governor "reigns" over a state, the mayor is the "king" of the municipality... similarly, we can say that senators, representatives, and councilors are powerful figures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daniel spoke, saying:<\/span><\/mark>
Blessed be the name of God forever and ever.,<\/span><\/mark>
For wisdom and strength belong to him;<\/span><\/mark>
And he changes the times and the seasons;<\/span><\/mark>
EHe removes the kings and establishes the kings.<\/span><\/span>;<\/span><\/mark>
EHe gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the intelligent.<\/span><\/mark><\/p>\n(Daniel 2:20-21 \u2013 ACF)<\/strong><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

It is easy and inevitable to see that the degradation of humanity and its rebellion against the Lord has brought us to this current point of extreme inversion, where most of those who come to power have begun to praise and negotiate with evildoers while punishing\u2014mainly with exorbitant tax burdens to cover the thefts and errors that occurred during their administration\u2014those who do good.
What to do?
Should we stop praying for them?!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because we do not know what we should ask for. AS IS FITTING<\/span>,
But the same Spirit intercedes for us with groanings that words cannot express.
And he who searches hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is;
And it is he who, according to God, intercedes for the saints.
And we know that All things work together for good to those who love God.<\/span>, those who are called according to his purpose.<\/span><\/mark><\/p>\n(Romans 8:26b\u201328 \u2013 ACF)<\/strong><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

We know how idiotic and demonic those are who, calling themselves Christians, live under the mantra of \u201cdo not judge<\/a>\u201d...particularly when the defense of sinful practices\u2014that is, practices directly contrary to what is determined by Scripture\u2014by the one being "judged" is clearly identified. However, in the everyday secular context, there are practices not directly foreseen in the Bible, and in fact, only the Lord can judge them... and it is at this point that our... DUTY<\/strong> Praying for leaders becomes imperative!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the government is just, the country has security; but when the government levies too many taxes, the nation ends up in disgrace.<\/span><\/mark>

A king who administers justice brings stability to the country, but one who is fond of bribes leads it to ruin.<\/span><\/mark><\/p>\n(Proverbs 29:4 \u2013 NTLH)<\/strong> NVI)<\/strong><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Initially, it may seem that there is no correlation whatsoever between "charging too many taxes" and "liking bribes"\u2014and we might even suspect that this was some kind of manipulation by translators with political intentions\u2014but\u2026 observing everyday life allows us to see that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. If while in "General" and "within the law" sphere\u201c<\/span><\/strong> The high tax burden is imposed to support administrative incompetence and the criminal misappropriation of public funds\u2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Node restricted scope and completely outside the law.<\/span>\u200a<\/strong>, This ultimately encourages and allows the emergence of so-called... \u201c"friends of the king"\u201d<\/em> Or, in other words, those who prefer to directly fund the luxuries and abuses of those in power, since this ends up being cheaper than paying regular taxes and can even lead to the government generously benefiting them through the creation of tailor-made laws and decrees, forgiveness of fines for crimes committed... in short: the famous "one hand washes the other," when elevated to institutional\/governmental power, ends up being the generating principle of all corruption!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
