After learning about the testimony of some Christian martyrs and in light of the arduous days that precede the scenario of Revelation 14<\/mark><\/b>, I decided it was time to convey to my children the importance of never, under any circumstances, denying their faith in God and in the Lord Jesus Christ.
I thought it best to begin by explaining the transience of material existence and the supreme power of the Lord over life and death, and, despite its complexity and shocking nature, I chose the following passage:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And I saw thrones;
And they sat on them, and they were given the power to judge;
And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony about Jesus and for the word of God.,
and who have not worshiped the beast or its image,
and they did not receive the mark on their foreheads or on their hands;
And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.<\/span><\/div>
