The King of the Fall

Demoted, But Still Powerful

Among the most pathetic things of the current Christian era—that of apostasy, in fact—are the so-called "marches to Jesus," especially those where it is proclaimed that the place where it is being held will supposedly be "conquered," "reaffirmed as property," or "returned" to the Lord Jesus…

If Satan offered ALL THE KINGDOMS OF THE WORLD AND THEIR GLORY and was solemnly despised, why would the Lord want Esburacópolis do Mato Fundo in exchange for a spectacle devoid of the Word and aimed only at displaying the political power and social influence of the leaders of ecclesiastical enterprises?

Again the devil took him to a very high mountain;
And he showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.
And he said to him, “All this I will give you if you will fall down and worship me.”.
Then Jesus said to him:
Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written:
You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.

(Matthew 4:8–10)

All the marches mentioned in the Word—Old Testament marches, in fact—were for the destruction of enemy peoples, never for dancing or putting on a show: the truth is that no city was "impacted," crime rates continued to rise, wickedness multiplied—to the point that the gospel is in the crosshairs of social justice warriors—and yet, most of those who call themselves Christians seem not to understand:

The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.
For he founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the rivers.
Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place?

(Psalm 24:1-3)

In previous post I spoke about the one who not only stood on God's Holy Mountain and walked among the shining stones, but who, precisely because he coveted to be like the Lord, was humbled and cast to the ground… did you read the last two lines of the passage that began it, as I asked?
If you read this, congratulations! If not… consider this a reprimand and a call to change your attitude, because the Lord is good, but I already have two children to take care of and I'm not going to be carrying this lazy person along during this training: you probably won't be able to count on me for the rest of your life and you have to learn to manage on your own, with the help of the Holy Spirit!
If I include links throughout the text, it's to deepen your understanding; if I don't, please have the decency to use the search engines available on the internet! For today, I'll transcribe this excerpt because it contains something quite relevant to note:

Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty,
You corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor;
I threw you to the ground;
I have set you before kings, that they may gaze at you.

(Ezekiel 28:17)

If when the Lord Jesus Christ speaks something it is probably an axiom, when he DOES NOT SPEAK, there is also truth to be recognized in the context!
When Satan offered Him the kingdoms of the earth and their glory, the first thing He would say if it weren't true would be:
How can you offer me what you don't have?!
But the passage above makes it quite clear that—quite distinct from the fate of the king of Tyre (which, at most, was contemplated by the kings of his time)—Satan was placed before the kings of the earth from the moment of his fall, that is, destined to inspire them from before the existence of any human king, and this is no reason for despair or astonishment, on the contrary: it is merely proof that the Lord already knew the end, in detail, from before the beginning!

Why do the nations rage, and the peoples plot in vain?
The kings of the earth rise up, and the rulers band together against the Lord and against his anointed, saying:
Let us break their bonds and cast off their cords from us.
He who dwells in the heavens will laugh;
The Lord will mock them.
Then he will speak to them in his anger, and terrify them in his fury.

(Psalm 2:1-5)

The essence of Christianity is not defined by the land, nature, ecology, civilization, or culture: the core of faith is complete surrender to the Lord and the ability to understand that He has the power to restore even life itself—at any time!—provided the soul has not been corrupted: the good that a Christian does must have as its ultimate goal, even if not immediately, the salvation of the soul…
Saving lives in order to expose human beings to degradation, sin, and alienation from God and His Truth through apparent kindness is something that arose from "human intelligence" less than three hundred years ago and acquired names such as "“socialism” and “social justice“…

And whoever welcomes one of these children because he is my follower,
will be receiving me.
As for these little ones who believe in me,
If anyone is to blame for one of them abandoning me,
It would be better for that person if they were thrown into the deepest part of the sea.,
with a large stone tied around her neck.

(Matthew 18:5-6)

But there are the kings, creating laws not only to punish those who call sin by its name, but to criminalize the preaching of the unadulterated Truth and prevent the gospel from flowing without the state's "seal of approval": the situation is so terrible that they have already transformed the exclusively vocational calling into an ordinary regular job; in the name of "equality" they have established women to assume the exclusively male ministry and, finally, for registration and control purposes, people today are no longer able to understand that "Church" is something quite distinct from an "ecclesiastical enterprise," be it a large franchise or a "gospel bar.".
Let's set aside these modern issues—at least for now—and observe the fulfillment of what the Lord God said at the end of Satan's expulsion?

THE FIRST HUMAN KING

And Cush begat Nimrod;
This one began to be powerful on earth.
And this one was a mighty hunter before the Lord;
That is why it is said: Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before the LORD.
And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, Erech, Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
From that same land he went to Assyria and built Nineveh, Rehoboth-Ir, Calah,
And Resen, between Nineveh and Calah (this is the great city).

(Genesis 10:8-12)

Those who can't stand reading genealogies risk skipping over this extremely curious passage, as it not only reveals that Nimrod He was the first king in all of history, and his reign began precisely at Babel.
Regarding this king, the Jewish-Roman apologist and historian Flavius Josephus he wrote:

“Little by little, he transformed the state of affairs into a tyranny, maintaining that the only way to turn men away from the fear of God was to make them continually dependent on his own power. He threatened to take revenge on God if He should again flood the earth; for he would build a tower higher than the water could reach and avenge the destruction of his ancestors. The people were eager to follow this advice, considering it slavery to submit to God; so they undertook to build the tower […] and it rose rapidly beyond all expectations.”

Given this account, we can imagine how terrible the situation was in Babel: the powerful and very first spirit to rebel against God, accompanied by his entire army of millions, encountering the man who, by the position he had assumed, was destined to face him…
But that's a topic for when I talk about it.’The Kingdom of Fallen Spirits!
