The Weight of the Crown

In light of so many terrible things that have afflicted Brazil and the rest of the world—including the monstrous governmental oppression that, in the name of things like "peace," "security," and "health," has condemned working citizens to hunger—I decided to seek an answer to a very important question: how should Christians pray for their rulers?

I therefore admonish you, first of all,
that requests be made, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgiving, for all men;
by the kings, and all those in authority,
so that we may live a quiet and peaceful life in all godliness and holiness. HONESTY;
because this is good and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior.r.

There is a pernicious type of instruction interspersed among Christians, especially evangelicals, that completely departs from biblical recommendations and enslaves them under the shackles of Satan himself… and that is what I will address in this text, highlighting the WORDS in the transcribed passages to facilitate understanding and ALWAYS prioritizing the summary of the first of the 10 commandments that commands us to LOVE THE LORD GOD ABOVE ALL OTHER THINGS.

Having your conduct honorable among the Gentiles;
so that, in the very thing in which they speak evil of you as evildoers, they may glorify God on the day of visitation, through the good works which they observe in you.
Therefore, submit yourselves to every human ordinance for the Lord's sake;
whether to the king, as superior; or to the governors,
as by Him sent to punish wrongdoers,
e In praise of those who do good..
For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people.;
Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as servants of God.
HONOR EVERYONE.
Love brotherhood.
Fear God.
HONOR THE KING.

GOVERNMENT MODELS

Before proceeding, and regarding models of government, we need to make it very clear that in a MONARCHY the king is considered to be an envoy of God himself, while in DEMOCRACY — and despite possible fraud — the election result ends up being a PERMISSION from God, with all the mechanisms inherent to the current model applying, including "impeachment" in constitutionally foreseen cases.
So, to make it clear and easier to understand even for those who are functionally illiterate, every highest authority in a given region can be likened to a king: the president is the "king" of a nation, the governor "reigns" over a state, the mayor is the "king" of the municipality... similarly, we can say that senators, representatives, and councilors are powerful figures.

Daniel spoke, saying:
Blessed be the name of God forever and ever.,
For wisdom and strength belong to him;
And he changes the times and the seasons;
EHe removes the kings and establishes the kings.;
EHe gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the intelligent.

It is easy and inevitable to see that the degradation of humanity and its rebellion against the Lord has brought us to this current point of extreme inversion, where most of those who come to power have begun to praise and negotiate with evildoers while punishing—mainly with exorbitant tax burdens to cover the thefts and errors that occurred during their administration—those who do good.
What to do?
Should we stop praying for them?!

Because we do not know what we should ask for. AS IS FITTING,
But the same Spirit intercedes for us with groanings that words cannot express.
And he who searches hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is;
And it is he who, according to God, intercedes for the saints.
And we know that All things work together for good to those who love God., those who are called according to his purpose.

We know how idiotic and demonic those are who, calling themselves Christians, live under the mantra of “do not judge”...particularly when the defense of sinful practices—that is, practices directly contrary to what is determined by Scripture—by the one being "judged" is clearly identified. However, in the everyday secular context, there are practices not directly foreseen in the Bible, and in fact, only the Lord can judge them... and it is at this point that our... DUTY Praying for leaders becomes imperative!

When the government is just, the country has security; but when the government levies too many taxes, the nation ends up in disgrace.

A king who administers justice brings stability to the country, but one who is fond of bribes leads it to ruin.

Initially, it may seem that there is no correlation whatsoever between "charging too many taxes" and "liking bribes"—and we might even suspect that this was some kind of manipulation by translators with political intentions—but… observing everyday life allows us to see that:

1. If while in "General" and "within the law" sphere“ The high tax burden is imposed to support administrative incompetence and the criminal misappropriation of public funds…
2. Node restricted scope and completely outside the law. , This ultimately encourages and allows the emergence of so-called... “"friends of the king"” Or, in other words, those who prefer to directly fund the luxuries and abuses of those in power, since this ends up being cheaper than paying regular taxes and can even lead to the government generously benefiting them through the creation of tailor-made laws and decrees, forgiveness of fines for crimes committed... in short: the famous "one hand washes the other," when elevated to institutional/governmental power, ends up being the generating principle of all corruption!

Just a reminder:

Now therefore, let the fear of the Lord be with you;
Keep it, and do it;
because there is no iniquity nor partiality with the Lord our God,
NO ACCEPTANCE OF BRIBERY.

But if high taxes and bribes lead to the ruin of a nation, can such ruin be considered clear evidence of corruption?
And how would we possibly distinguish the corrupt among so many rulers and principalities?

How should Christians pray for their leaders?

Although this article was originally published in 2016, it deals with a topic that comes back into the spotlight with each political event, and I recently saw a respectable brother saying that "we should pray for the conversion of rulers," but nowhere in Scripture are we instructed to pray for just any conversion.

I solemnly charge you before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom,
What preach the word,
Instants, both in season and out of season.,
reprimand, rebuke, exhort, with all patience and doctrine.
For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine.;
But, having itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers according to their own desires;
And they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn to myths.
But you, Be sober in all things.,
suffers afflictions,
He does the work of an evangelist.,
Fulfill your ministry.

(2ⁿᵈ Timothy 4:1-5 – ACF)

I wrote the duties of Christians in capital letters because none of them is "to pray for the conversion," neither of ordinary people nor of rulers!
Knowing that
1. Genuine faith comes from hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17);
2. The work of conviction concerning sin, righteousness, and judgment is done exclusively by the Holy Spirit (John 16:7-11);
3. Only those whom the Father himself sends can come to Christ (John 6:65);
4. Since the brother who promoted this instruction is a great preacher of the Word of God, I feel the need to clarify this possible confusion without creating conflict, as it seems to be merely a misreading of the following passage:

Now I need to say one of those things that isn't pleasant, that might cause controversy, and I believe few Christians ever become aware of this shocking truth based on Scripture: all prayers should conclude with "Thy will be done"—that is, not mine nor yours, dear reader, but the sovereign and irrevocable will of the Lord God—so that many things that seem good or just to us may even end up being the negation of His will!
Did David not pray for his son Absalom? How many times did the apostle Paul pray to have that "thorn in the flesh" removed from him? And the Lord Jesus Christ himself... had the cup taken away from him?!?

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ,
For it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.;
first from the Jew, and also from the Greek.

Given this, and the fact that nowhere in Scripture could I find any command, recommendation, or suggestion to "pray for the conversion" of any person, ordinary or king, I cannot join the crowd of those who deny the real power of the Gospel in order to show an "appearance of piety" or politically correct discourse.
Because of kings and authorities, because of the consequences of their actions, because of the possibilities of misfortune, persecution, or even abundance… we must behave according to Christ's recommendation:

Do not be anxious, saying:
What shall we eat, or what shall we drink, or what shall we wear?
For all these things the Gentiles seek.
Surely your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things;
But, Seek first the kingdom of God., and its justice, And all these things will be added to you.
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.
Each day has enough trouble of its own.

It was difficult, but I learned to fulfill my role of delivering the Word to all people, whenever possible, without pretending to know what God wants from individuals or the anxiety of thinking that the Holy Spirit's role is mine.
So, when I AGREE WITH the actions and REALLY LIKE a ruler, I DEMAND JUSTICE regarding their life.
Similarly, when I disagree with everything and cannot stand a ruler… I demand justice for their life.
It is not I who will execute judgment, and should punishment or blessing from the Lord God come... it will be a consequence entirely independent of my will!

It is not good to favor the wicked, and thereby cause the righteous to lose the case.

Woe to those who enact unjust laws, and to the scribes who prescribe oppression.

(Proverbs 18:5 / Isaiah 10:1 – ACF)

Now, silence is not the way to solve critical situations: the duty of Christians is to PRAY FOR THOSE WHO LEAD, but certainly not with the irrational and automatic "God bless those who govern," including even evildoers in that category!

While it is not spiritually prudent to pronounce direct judgment or curse them for atrocities committed, it is entirely permissible to ASK THE LORD TO JUDGE AND PUNISH WITH ALL POSSIBLE SEVERITY ANYONE WHOM HE, WHO SEES AND KNOWS ALL, FINDS AT FAULT!
If every Christian prayed this way, only the innocent would sleep in peace…

You shall not oppress a hired servant who is poor and needy among your brothers., or from your foreigners who are in your land and within your gates.
You shall pay him his wages on the day he earns them, and the sun shall not set on it.;
because he is poor, and his life depends on it;
lest I cry out to the Lord against you, and you be guilty of sin.

(Deuteronomy 24:14–15 – ACF)

Pay close attention to this last passage: promoting the suffering of anyone, especially the poor—whether by paying them unfairly, killing them without medical care, charging abusive taxes, or depriving them of their freedom to earn a living… even while claiming to care for their “health” or “safety”!—is, without a doubt, a SIN!
Keep this information in mind…

ACCOMPLICES TO INJUSTICE

Obey your leaders and submit to them;
because they watch over your souls, AS Those who will have to give an account of them;
so that they may do it with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you.

(Hebrews 13:17)

Up to this point, the clear biblical procedure to be followed by a Christian has been exposed, but… why don't the leaders forget about their ecclesiastical business franchises, gather as the BODY OF CHRIST — that is, the one true CHURCH — and, repenting of their sins, fast and pray asking the Lord to carry out this “cleansing operation” that could change the history of an entire country?!?
Well, the answer is quite simple and may be disappointing to some, but... most leaders are involved in and complicit with the current state of affairs!

Thus says the Lord God, who gathers the dispersed of Israel:
I will add others to those already joined to him.
You, all the animals of the field, all the animals of the woods, Come and eat.
ALL Their watchmen are blind, they know nothing;
They are all mute dogs, they cannot bark;
They are asleep, they are lying down, and they enjoy sleeping.
And these dogs are greedy, they can never get enough;
and they are SHEPHERDS who understand nothing;
They all turn to their own path, each to their own greed, each for their own part.
Come, they say, let us get wine and drink strong drink;
And tomorrow will be like today, only more abundant.

(Isaiah 56:8–12)

The passage above is prophetic and shows that the conformity of pastors will not necessarily be an "alliance with the government," but will occur because they themselves, due to their leadership position, cannot risk sowing the seeds of understanding without risking losing their own interests if they are discovered to be in error: it is better to keep the members of the "church" in ignorance, praying only for deliverance and blessings for any leaders, corrupt or not... including themselves!

The true church has no country.

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.,
and the people whom he chose as his inheritance.

(Psalm 33:12)

And this nation, I regret to inform some inattentive (or even ignorant) people full of good intentions, is definitely NOT BRAZIL, and this is meticulously stated. explained here.
Brazil — for example, and to begin with — is a nation totally contaminated by idolatry and immorality, where honors are given to a patron saint and the people only know how to quote "let he who is without sin cast the first stone" to affront decency, but seem to make an absolute point of completely ignoring "sin no more," creating an absolutely fantastical image where the Lord Jesus Christ is nothing more than a debauched type, always in agreement and willing to cheerfully bless any immorality contrary to the Word that He, being God Himself, inspired men to carefully record.

And things only get worse in the spiritual realm: we only need to pay attention to those around us and we discover that they identify themselves as "son of such and such a saint" or "daughter of such and such an orisha," not to mention their angels, their horoscopes, their superstitions…
Well, of course everyone is free to serve whichever devil they want, but then they shouldn't come blaming the Lord God for the misfortunes that follow!

And the spiritual realm is also going from bad to worse for Christians, particularly evangelicals, most of whom prefer to dedicate themselves to all sorts of endeavors… EXCEPT UNDERSTANDING THE BIBLE they carry, sealed and full of body odor, under their arm!

These range from the misuse of a percentage of their salary for improper purposes, to the forced inclusion of dancing in the middle of the service which should be rational, participation in marches with a purely political purpose, re-Judaization, dissemination of prophecies that are not fulfilled and even incentive to own by demons claiming to be the “Holy Spirit”*

Because it is written:
As surely as I live, declares the Lord, every knee will bow before me.,
And every tongue will confess to God.
So that Each of us will be accountable for ourselves. goodbye.

(Romans 14:11–12)

The passage above demolishes the arguments of some idolaters—particularly those based on the grotesque translation of the “New Living Bible” into Hebrews 13:17 — who claim that pastors are responsible for the souls of their sheep, leading to a false concept of “justification by obedience to the pastor” …
Indeed, they should watch over souls AS THOSE who will give an account for them, which is exactly in accordance with Luke 10:27 And his recommendations regarding love: if you are capable of loving your neighbor as yourself, there is a reciprocity in that you will be able to care for their soul as if you were the one who will take care of it, that is, THEMSELVES!

In other words, if your pastor has gone astray, degenerated, become a thief, committed adultery… there is no biblical or real reason to continue following and/or supporting a scoundrel, and that is why they don't want texts like this to be disseminated and known, using their pulpits, regardless of the ecclesiastical franchise (aka "denomination"), to try to disqualify and call people like me the things that they themselves are!

Finally, “The nation,” only one and of this world, chosen by the Lord for His inheritance is ISRAEL!!! There are the sheep and we, animals of the field and the forest (Brazilians, Americans, or from any other nations) who were added later, received this SPIRITUALLY and will only come to enjoy certain privileges in the future, something that, to the despair of some, seems to be very close to happening… and that is what we are going to talk about now.

Realizing a very old plan

Why do the nations rage, and the peoples plot in vain?
The kings of the earth rise up, and the rulers band together against the Lord and against his anointed, saying:
Let us break their bonds and cast off their cords from us.
The One who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord scoffs at them.
Then he will speak to them in his anger, and terrify them in his fury.

(Psalm 2:1–5)

This passage is part of the introduction to the book of Psalms, which led almost a thousand years to be compiled and has David as the author of most of its texts, that is: the rebellious conspiracy against the Lord God began at the dawn of history and has only grown and become more complex with the passing of millennia.
Even in the time of the Lord Jesus Christ himself, this operation was so advanced that there was even a rather revealing episode between Him and the devil himself:

Again the devil took him to a very high mountain;
And he showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.
And he said to him, “All this I will give you if you will fall down and worship me.”.
Then Jesus said to him:
Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written:
You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.

(Matthew 4:8–10)

Very few people realize that if the devil were lying, the first thing Jesus would say would be something like, "How can you offer me something you don't have?", but that wasn't his response, and there are two important biblical references that explain this attitude:

Jesus answered: "My kingdom is not of this world;
If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is not of this world.

(John 18:36)

We know that we are of God, and that the WHOLE WORLD LIES IN THE POWER OF THE EVIL ONE.

Realizing this may cause great discomfort at first—especially among the multitude of idiots who for years have been “marching to Jesus” and declaring that this or that city belongs to Him, without realizing that this is nothing more than a sordidly political movement—but this condition of apparent loss does not reveal defeat, much less imply weakness on the part of the Lord God; on the contrary, it indicates the millimetric precision with which He has been fulfilling His prophetic Word.

Satan, contrary to the frightening image presented, especially in horror films, can reveal himself to be in a way that is completely opposite to what we might expect:

And no wonder, because SATAN HIMSELF TRANSFIGURES HIMSELF INTO AN ANGEL OF LIGHT.
It is not surprising, then, that HIS MINISTERS TRANSFORM THEMSELVES INTO MINISTERS OF JUSTICE;
whose end will be according to their works.

(2ⁿᵈ Corinthians 11:14–15)

And, just as in appearance, the enemy of our souls is masterful at camouflaging his intentions of destruction and death for humanity with goals of transcendental goodness, things that supposedly promote safety, health, evolution, well-being, and peace for humanity… right from the start!

When the serpent claimed that certain trees had been forbidden so that "poor humans" would never have access to the benefits of the "elite"—what more SOCIALIST/COMMUNIST example could there be?!?—and Eve, as full of initiative as a FEMINIST who "fights for her rights," went, reached in, ate, and won: she took sin and death right in the face, which only entered the world because of this episode!

THE RED BIBLE

Still observing the episode above, we note that the first official bans in all of human history were precisely related to the consumption of the fruits of two trees… and nowadays we are faced with MARIJUANA USERS, especially those who preach “gospel,” claiming that everything that is natural should be consumed freely because it is “God’s creation”…

And then there's that tragedy that occurred because the Lord God wanted an animal sacrifice: Abel, simple and obedient, offered some lambs and was pleased; but Cain, the clever one, thought He had to become a VEGETARIAN and tried to force-feed Him "fruits of the earth," only to be met with the utmost coldness… and then, hurt by "not being recognized," he went there and… established quotas for minorities He killed his own brother!!!
Some six thousand years later and there are still people calling this garbage "REVOLUTIONARY IDEAS," trying to convince us that they are good and that they will work, providing freedom and well-being for humanity…

Unfortunately, capitalism—the opposite of the greater doctrine mentioned in the quotes above—is also not a spiritually opposing solution, allowing almost anything that opposes God to be acquired… and this, eventually—and beyond money—can end up costing the consumer their very soul.

Finally, I could spend a good deal more time rehashing many of the things I've already written about, but I think I'll give a SPOILER about what will happen at the end… not just the end of this text, but the end of the world and the rebellion of the kings of the earth as a whole:

They can kick and scream, throw tantrums, march, hold hands, fast, prophesy, explode atomic bombs… absolutely regardless of human will, this is the prophetic word given by God himself and it must be fulfilled exactly, otherwise the Creator of heaven and earth would allow Himself to be labeled a liar… and lying is something He hates!

CONCLUSION

Does the world, especially Brazil, have terrible leaders?
Most likely, but — given all the characteristics of rebellion against God, ignorance, immorality, laziness, bad faith… — perhaps this is exactly the kind of government we deserve!
Of course I suffer along with them and pray that the Lord will hasten to judge and bring His justice upon the corrupt, while also wanting to see severe punishment for their wickedness. However, my fear is that the change in the figures currently in power could lead to even more disastrous consequences and bring even greater suffering upon the world, after all… there is an important reference to this:

Why Then there will be great distress,
There has never been anything like it since the beginning of the world until now, nor will there ever be again..
And if those days were not shortened, no flesh would be saved;
But for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.

(Matthew 24:21–22)

Make no mistake, through their corruption, some rulers are sinning and may indeed be subject to a prayer similar to that offered by the apostle Paul…

In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, together with you and my spirit, by the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, let such a one be delivered to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

The Word of God is not the sweet, cotton-candy fairy tale that many (who have never read it carefully) believe it to be and spread, containing quite definitive and even shocking passages. I conclude this text by presenting two of these:

And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul;
Rather, fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

(Matthew 10:28)

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
(…)
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not believe in the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

(John 3:16 and 36)

Having said that, I conclude by emphasizing that there is indeed a possibility for someone destined for salvation—which is NOT UNIVERSAL!—to be sinning and to perish so that their errors may cease and their soul may be preserved, but a worse fate awaits those who do not believe in Christ—even if they are “normal” people, politically correct, and practitioners of the most beautiful humanitarian acts…

Do not be mistaken:
Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who have sex with men, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

(1ˢᵗ Corinthians 6:10)

But as for the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.

(Revelation 21:8)

Understand that my words are merely a didactic link between the immutable texts recorded in the Word of God: I am nothing more than a plagiarist fulfilling the role of a messenger.
Unlike some who claim to believe—but kill and explode because they know their god is inert in himself—I did not shoot, I did not explode bombs, and much less do I want to impose my faith on anyone, mainly because I know that only those who were destined for it by the Lord God himself can believe… and it is into His hands that I entrust your life, dear reader, whether you are a citizen or a ruler; right-wing or left-wing; creature or child.

Interestingly, most of this publication was originally created on January 11, 2016, and even the images depict the rulers of that time. However, realizing that very few additions were needed to make the content current during the review... only strengthened my faith even more in the supernatural power of God, revealed through the Scriptures inspired by Him!
