While crucifixes and garlic necklaces, according to legends, are said to be fatal against vampires, silver bullets are considered the only ammunition capable of eliminating werewolves, but… what is the use of those Bibles that some, so-called Christians, place, often even on a specific altar, open — usually in Matthew 6 or us Psalm 23 or 91 — in their homes?
It wasn't the pandemic that managed to decrease the volume of sales of the Holy Bible in Brazil and the world; on the contrary: in a report (in English), the network Fox News It is noted that there were record increases of up to 62% in some cases!
This allows us to conclude that it is not due to a lack of the book—paper and ink—where we can find the record of God's Word that wickedness has grown in the same proportion as love has grown cold.
Biblical Mysteries
Because it is a work of absolutely unique and unparalleled content, the Bible has naturally puzzled humanity throughout history, as it expresses the dynamics of a relationship that, in light of certain passages, can be mistakenly considered anachronistic.

“"Weak Bible"”
The book called the Bible — with all its ink, paper, and any imaginable additions — cannot prevent anyone from tearing it up, crumpling it, burning it, using its pages as toilet paper, or even to wrap drugs… however, being the only and legitimate channel of divine expression, even this “weakness” has the usefulness of revealing those who hate to the point of expressing their frank rebellion against the Creator by vilifying the work that can transmit His Word.
On the other hand, there are many who seek copies adorned with the most expensive and diverse treasures, intending to frame them, untouchable, for display on shelves and altars… and this—despite the reverent appearance of piety—ultimately amounts to nothing more than pure rebellion against the message contained in the Scriptures through idolatry!
Going back to garlic, which at least gives off an odor, an open Bible somewhere in the house doesn't even scare away insects and, just like in the opening image, only serves to accumulate dust and dirt.
THE REAL POWERS OF THE BIBLE
The striking reality is that God himself has ordained a kind of "mental veil" to prevent the full and widespread understanding of the gospel, regardless of the level of education of the readers who attempt to interpret it.
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing;

Indeed, this is a statement that will cause astonishment and great displeasure, but anyone—regardless of the good works they may present—who claims to be a Christian and has not been begotten by the Word of Truth or whose supposed faith does not originate strictly from the Word of God is living a fraud… often even to themselves!

It is obvious that I too felt distress at witnessing ecclesiastical enterprises flinging open their doors and freeing themselves from the inseparable constraints of the Church, the Body of Christ, and its narrow path: my studies on the absurdities promoted by Rick Warren or the unnecessary insertion of dances in what should be rational worship or rather the diabolical deception of those enslaved by false spiritual battle…it’s all recorded and I’m sure I witnessed the consolidation of what the Scriptures call “Apostasy“".
Today I am mature enough to handle and try to present this type of information, because I know that it can only be understood by those who are destined for it: regardless of the cessation of something that may be benefiting us or the opposition to our wishes, biblical prophecies must be fulfilled exactly as they are recorded.
That's because they are not possibilities, but merely information that the Lord God has given us because HE HAS BEEN THERE BEFORE?, He has already tested all the alternatives and has already determined the existence of that event!
Just as the Old Testament contained accurate prophecies about the coming, life, and death of the Lord Jesus Christ, the apostles gave us glimpses not of an agenda to be fulfilled, but of diary entries—accounts of events that had already occurred and were therefore inevitable—from God's perspective.
The human mind has the capacity to emulate sensations while reading or listening about an event: even without believing, we are led by our imagination to "live" it when, for example, we watch a horror or action movie... or hear about the cataclysms recounted in the Book of Revelation: if any of these scenes are repeated before our eyes, the first sensation will possibly be "“déjà vu“", followed, according to personality factors, by disbelief or panic.".

BIBLE DEBATES
Once, Eliseo Soriano, after reading something on my old website, sent me an invitation to a biblical debate. Because he was a well-known figure due to the TV program he hosted, there was a certain commotion among the people around me, expecting me to go to his audience to confront some of the misinformation he was promoting.
I prayed about this for some time, and the memory of what Christ said to the disciples came back to me:

I am led to believe that the public doesn't seek these debates exactly for spiritual edification, but, like in a "Brazilian Western" (or "Biblical Western"), the interest is in seeing a "duel at sunset" where at least one of the participants will be eager to be seen as some kind of "hero of faith" whose interpretation will revolutionize something in the Word of God... that's called VANITY!
Wherever there is a corpse, there the vultures will gather.

Satan, in tempting the Lord Jesus Christ, used cunning to distort passages of Scripture, and nothing prevents his servants from employing the same tactic and, with a little personal charisma and catchy phrases, easily winning over the opinion of the audience present.
While not mandatory, I believe any biblical debate can be conducted with all due patience and opportunities for consultation and substantiation.
I declined the invitation and, assuring him it would be published, requested a written rebuttal of the issue that had caught his attention. I waited… for days, months… years!
Unfortunately he he died without answering me.
DENIAL
One of the most evident characteristics of apostasy—a word that means "departure from genuine faith"—is precisely the inability to conform to what has been determined and gently revealed—more than a thousand years in advance—by God.
Observing the prophecies, once started, the Apostasy has no end, worsening until it merges with the "beginning of sorrows"... there is no relief and, on the contrary, the suffering only intensifies until it becomes tribulation.
God neither hid the prophecies from anyone nor, once the sequence began, presented no alternatives or possibilities for cancellation: we might assume that, given this scenario, it would be up to Christians to announce to the world the proximity and severity of the day of judgment, but… what have we seen?
While many self-proclaimed doctors of lust dive into the politically correct waves to inaugurate inclusive ecclesiastical enterprises — specializing in scratching itchly organs far more inhospitable and smelly than the ears of their paying audience — Biblical Christians can no longer even identify sins by their own names.!
While the servants of evil advance, imposing laws that will facilitate the establishment of the reign of the Antichrist, those who claim to believe in Christ run about, seemingly disoriented, calling for theatrical fasts that don't even come close to promoting repentance or, under the pretext of fighting for morality, organizing political marches and citing "the people who are called by the name of God"...
It sounds nice, it appears pious, but all this only serves to deny the Word of God, accumulating defeats simply because they want to take for themselves promises made specifically to the nation of Israel… incapable of recognizing and admitting that the god of any other nation, including Brazil, was never actually the Lord God.
Satan's servants end up, unintentionally, being right when they mock and call a good part of this mass "deniers"... not because of their refusal to become... guinea pigs for a prototype of the mark of the beast, But because, while claiming to be servants, they are blatantly ignoring and denying the word of their Lord.
LIKE OUR PARENTS…
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge;

Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you as my priest.;
And because you have forgotten the law of your God,
I too will forget your children.
Please make no mistake: in the passage above, the Lord God is referring specifically to "my people," that is, the Israelites, a fact reinforced by the direct reference to their descendants.
Personally, I suffer and can no longer bear to see some of my Christian contemporaries invoking Israelite promises as if God had made some commitment to another people or nation: by acting in this way they are only proving that they too are following the same path presented in the passage above and hastening to perish through lack of knowledge.
If resistance to knowledge of the word occurs similarly under both the Law and Grace, then sins have not needed to evolve or change to continue finding opportunities to germinate within what should be the congregation of the righteous: even many of the deceptions clearly mentioned in Scripture find space to inspire the creation of new “theologies” and ecclesiastical franchises!
