Tolerance and Intolerance in Christianity

We live in a nation where all those who steal and kill are “victims of society” and should not be deprived of their freedom because “prison only worsens” their condition…
On the other hand, anyone who doesn't conform to the widespread degradation that is rapidly engulfing society becomes INTOLERANT and, therefore, deserves to go—how curious!—to jail!
There is no doubt that we are living through very difficult times… and, without wanting to create illusions, the prophecies of Scripture indicate that IT WILL GET WORSE.

SPIRITUAL REALM

Fortunately for some—and unfortunately for others—the foundation of the Christian faith is always clear and solid, allowing no doubt or compromise.

Jesus said to him:
I am the way, and the truth, and the life;
NOBODY HE COMES To the Father, if not through me.

(John 14:6)

Contrary to the translation found in the Catholic version, if we look at the original Greek texts we can see that by using the term "come," Jesus Christ both assumes the role of God and, at the same time, takes upon himself the greatest responsibility in the history of humanity, excluding any possibility, however small, that any other SPIRITUAL paths could even come close to being a valid way to access the true God… sad but true!

To complicate matters further, I had previously made it quite clear that the "go if you want" policy does not work in the Christian model:

NOBODY You can come to me,
IF THE FATHER WHO SENT ME DOES NOT BRING HIM;
And I will raise him up on the last day.

(John 6:44)

Considering that in the Bible organic life is distinct from spiritual life, this ends up turning many, even a good number of those who call themselves "Christians"—whether evangelical or Catholic—into a real "dead weight":

Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven.,
But he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name?’
And in your name we did not cast out demons?
And in your name we did not perform many miracles?
And then I will tell them plainly: I never knew you;
Depart from me, you who practice iniquity.

(Matthew 7:21–23)

Let's add to that the passage that dismantles any pretense of applying the concept of meritocracy to the spiritual realm:

For by grace you have been saved through faith;
And this does not come from you; it is the gift of God.
It doesn't come from the works, SO WHAT NOBODY GLORY YOURSELF.

(Ephesians 2:8–9)

And another reference regarding the only valid path for both accessing and practicing the only faith considered valid and genuine:

But not all have obeyed the gospel; for Isaiah says:
Lord, who has believed our message?
So then, faith comes by hearing.,
And hearing through the word of God.

(Romans 10:16–17)

Therefore, we can conclude that the Christian faith exists in opposition to many of the simplistic concepts painstakingly implemented by humanity over the years, because while it allows access to anyone—regardless of nationality, ethnicity, or social class—it is absolutely explicit and rigid in its precepts, excluding not only anyone who is deliberately outside of it, but also, and even, many of those who claim to be within it!
I.e:

Christianity is ABSOLUTELY INCLUSIVE in that it EXCLUDES ANYONE AND EVERYONE who does not follow it according to strict biblical precepts!

Note that this applies only to spiritual life and in relation to salvation, because, without contradicting itself, the Bible instructs those who are able to follow it to…

SOCIAL SCOPE

To lead a completely peaceful and tolerant life, treating all those who are not Christians with normality and respect, and, surprisingly (to some), JUDGING and distancing oneself from some who claim to be Christians:

I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people—not meaning the sexually immoral people of this world, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of this world. But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who…, Claiming to be a brother, for debauched, or greedy, or idolater, or slanderer, or drunkard, or thief; WITH SUCH DO NOT EVEN EAT.

(1ˢᵗ Corinthians 5:9–11)

And also:

Eat whatever is sold in the butcher shop without raising questions of conscience, for “the earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.”.
If any of the unbelievers invite you to a meal and you want to go, eat whatever is put before you without raising questions of conscience.
But if someone tells you, ‘This has been offered in sacrifice to idols,’ do not eat it, both for the sake of the one who told you and for the sake of conscience.;
For the earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.

(1ˢᵗ Corinthians 10:25–28)

In this second passage there is only a spiritual warning: if you are aware that something is part of a cult offered to another god, then by taking part in it (or consuming it) you are acquiescing and, even if indirectly, also bowing down (worshipping) to that other entity… and about that there is no doubt.

You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above, or on the earth beneath, or in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me.

(Exodus 20:3–5)

Finally, avoiding worship of any other god, it is enough for a Christian to live their life doing good whenever possible and, above all, never denying their faith.

If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, Have peace with all men..
Do not take revenge, dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written:
"Vengeance is mine; I will repay, says the Lord.".

(Romans 12:18–19)

At worst, if the conversation turns into an argument with a person in a state of absolute rebellion against God and (everything He inspired men to record in) His Word, there is this final piece of advice:

To the heretical man, after one admonition and then another, AVOID IT,
knowing that such a person is perverted and sins, being self-condemned.

(Titus 3:10–11)

Unfortunately, many "Christians" are completely unaware of this passage and, wanting to FORCE THEIR PERSPECTIVE, end up playing the role of intolerant, offensive, and conflict-creating individuals.
Ultimately, this only serves to denigrate the true gospel… and unfortunately we have witnessed some famous preachers acting in this arrogant way, making them, despite all their fame, the worst detractors of the faith they profess.

THE PROBLEM

The reason is that the Word of God is also prophetic and under no circumstances can it fail to be fulfilled.

For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.

(Matthew 24:21)

And it also describes some characteristics of that era:

But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come.
For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, without natural affection, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, without love for the good, traitors, headstrong, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power.
Of these GET AWAY.
For among them are those who creep into households and capture weak women burdened with sins, led astray by various passions, always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth.

(2ⁿᵈ Timothy 3:1–7)

Throughout history, evil has carefully prepared the way for its flourishing:

• It implemented educational models that promote ignorance and rebellion;
  disguised the deliberate worship of demons under the guise of "culture"“;
• He applied advanced techniques to transform things that should be mere entertainment into channels of possession, and of course;
• He did not fail to sow many of his servants within the ecclesiastical enterprises themselves, cultivating every imaginable kind of doctrinal distortion.

Finally, we have reached a time when evil can no longer be called evil because everything has been relativized, all depravities have been equated with congenital characteristics and/or flaws, turning their practitioners into "minorities" and anyone who disagrees with them into "intolerant": it is risky to simply condemn the practice (sin) because we have such a stupid and victim-minded society that it immediately claims that the practitioner (sinner) is being condemned…

Now, the Bible leaves no doubt about how a Christian should behave:

But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not fitting;
But first, thanksgiving.
For you know this very well:
that no fornicator, or impure person, or covetous person, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
Let no one deceive you with empty words;
For because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the children of disobedience.
Therefore, DO NOT BE THEIR COMPANIONS.

(Ephesians 5:3–7)

A little further ahead:

E DO NOT COMMUNICATE Do not expose the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.
Because what they do in secret is shameful even to speak of.

(Ephesians 5:11–12)

And even more:

Anyone who goes beyond what is taught and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God.
Whoever perseveres in the teaching of Christ has both the Father and the Son. 
If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching,
DO NOT RECEIVE HIM AT HOME, NOR neither HEALTHY.
For whoever greets him shares in his evil deeds.

(2ⁿᵈ John 1:9–11)

Note that I am not referring to any specific practice, but the doctrine of separation has no exceptions: have you identified the sin or the worship of other gods? STAY AWAY!!!
Please note that it is not acceptable to confront, coerce, argue… or assault, and anyone who engages in such acts is simply demonstrating a complete lack of understanding of the faith they claim to follow.
Even worse: these people who imagine they are defending the faith in this way, and sometimes even resorting to violence, end up, in reality, contradicting and shaming the true gospel, preparing a real trap that will be deadly for true Christians… and this in the not-so-distant future!

THEORY vs. PRACTICE

On November 6, 2016, the ENEM (National High School Exam) took place in Brazil. The score obtained from the exam qualifies students for access to higher education and, consequently, their entire future. The exam lasts two days and includes an essay on a topic chosen from among possible current and relevant issues in the country.
In this year's edition, the MANDATORY theme (there is no option) was “Ways to combat religious intolerance in Brazil”And this was enough to initiate many open displays of aversion to Christianity, not only on the part of those who profess other religions, but especially by those who have chosen to openly practice what Christians consider "sin.".

But if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing.
In which The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers.,
so that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine on them.

(2ⁿᵈ Corinthians 4:3–4)

To understand the weight that this "simple" act of "setting aside faith" has in the life of a Christian, it is necessary to turn to and understand the Bible, where we read something that will certainly surprise many who have been trained to think of the Lord Jesus Christ as a weak peacemaker:

Therefore, whoever confesses Me before men,
I will confess it before my Father, who is in heaven.
But ANY That I would deny myself before men,
I will deny it. also before my Father, who is in heaven.
Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword…

(Matthew 10:32–34)

So, recalling the beginning of this text, besides Christianity being a highly restrictive "club," the "members" have obligations that, although simple, are quite solid: the The act of denying Christ. This can happen both directly—by "setting aside faith"—and indirectly, by confronting what He said about being... The (only) WAY And, in the name of a more peaceful society, or whatever the devil is planning, to start considering that He might be wrong, or that there might be other ways…
From the moment your kindness and good intentions conflict with the Word, there is already a clear definition that leaves no room for doubt:

There is a way that seems right to a man,
But his end is the path of death.

(Proverbs 14:12)

Furthermore:

As it is written: There is no one righteous, not even one.
There is no one who understands;
There is no one who seeks God.
They have all turned aside, they have together become worthless.
There is no one who does good, not a single one.

(Romans 3:10–12)

And also:

For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing.
Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.

(Romans 7:19–20)

Are these passages sufficient to clarify for a Christian that from the moment any "good" he wishes to practice conflicts with the Word of God... it becomes evil?
Without a doubt, it's a harsh and difficult conclusion to accept—especially for those who are not Christians—but in writing this text, I have no choice but to speak only THE TRUTH, which, incidentally, is also one of the things that Christ assumed to be…

CONSEQUENCES OF "SETTING FAITH ASIDE"“

There is a rather serious prophetic passage concerning one of the apocalyptic beasts for which some may need some explanation:

Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and it had two horns like a lamb, but it spoke like a dragon.
And it exercises all the authority of the first beast in its presence, and makes the earth and those who dwell in it worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
And it performs great signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to earth in the sight of men. And it deceives those who dwell on the earth by the signs which it was granted to it to perform in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast which was wounded by the sword and lived.
And it was granted to him to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.
And he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive blessing. I put a sign on their right hand or on their foreheads, so that no one may buy or sell unless he has the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.

(Revelation 13:11–17)

Well, I'll try to simplify and summarize what's written above and what should happen sometime in the future:
People will emerge — yes, people seemingly like us! — who will do absolutely fantastic things, starting with a resurrection and involving many, many signs and miracles that will dazzle ALL OF HUMANITY… except for those annoying people who won't budge from their spouting about the "old" Jewish God and "some guy" called Jesus Christ.
Everything indicates that there will be a unification movement around these individuals based on some item that will be brought to life — that's right, it will come to life exactly like in some cartoons, like the utensils from Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" — and there will be no tolerance for those who don't love this thing: it's summary execution!

Based on this consensus surrounding the worldwide adoption of the "transformer," a very specific mark will be imposed—only on the right hands and foreheads—that will grant access to work, salary, and business: there will be no room for "smart alecks," meaning a genuine Christian can NEVER accept the mark… not even under the pretext of survival, because it directly implies "setting aside faith," that is, completely and undoubtedly denying the Lord God!
The matter is so serious that God himself inspired this recommendation:

And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice:
If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives its mark on their forehead or on their hand, they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured undiluted into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb.
And the smoke of their torment rises forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, those who worship the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name.

(Revelation 14:9–11)

My dears… this is very, VERY SERIOUS indeed!!!
If you, young Christian, are tempted (if not forced) today by the "secular state" to "set aside your faith" in order to "help those who suffer intolerance" and guarantee simple access to higher education courses, imagine the level of pressure that will be exerted when it is imposed that you worship the incarnation of the god of this age?!?
I have no doubt that such atrocities will be imposed in the name of TOLERANCE, SECURITY, and especially PEACE!

For you yourselves know very well that THE DAY OF THE LORD WILL COME LIKE A THIEF IN THE NIGHT;
Because, when they say: THERE IS PEACE AND SECURITY,
Then sudden destruction will come upon them, like labor pains upon a pregnant woman.,
And they will by no means escape.

(1ˢᵗ Thessalonians 5:2–3)

To us, the inconvenient and foolish lunatics who will not "set aside our faith" to live in a "better world" and who will accept being killed because of it, there are important and revealing prophecies:

And I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, “Write this down.”
Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.
Yes, says the Spirit, so that they may rest from their labors, and their deeds follow them.

(Revelation 14:13)

and also

And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them.;
and I saw the souls of those who had gone BEHEADED through the testimony of Jesus and the word of God,
and who did not worship the beast or its image,
and they did not receive the mark on their foreheads or on their hands;
And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years…

(Revelation 20:4)

So, my dear friends, we are not crazy when we refuse to "set aside our faith," and we must be ready to be ridiculed, overlooked, harmed... these will be the lesser evils!
Whoever does not remain silent about Christ has a prophecy spoken by Him himself:

And you will be brought before governors and kings for my sake, to bear witness to them and to the Gentiles.
But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.
Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death.
And you will be hated by all for my name's sake;
But the one who endures to the end will be saved.

(Matthew 10:18–22)

And aren't we already hated?!?
Are we no longer being persecuted when we are found to disagree with the prevailing model of POLITICAL CORRECTNESS?!?
So, explaining the subtitle of this article, humanity and its rulers have longed to rid themselves of God's influence since ancient times! This "novelty" is old enough to have been recorded in the book of Psalms:

Why do the nations rage, and the peoples plot in vain?
The kings of the earth rise up, and the governments consult together. AGAINST THE LORD AND AGAINST HIS ANOINTED ONE, saying:
Let us break their bonds and cast off their cords from us.
The One who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord scoffs at them.
Then he will speak to them in his anger, and terrify them in his fury.

(Psalm 2:1–5)

The only possible consequence of implementing a "secular state" according to the ancestral desire of those in rebellion against the Judeo-Christian God... is the creation of a completely satanic and lethal state.

For whoever finds me finds life and obtains favor from the Lord.
But whoever sins against me wrongs his own soul;
ALL THOSE WHO HATE ME They love death..

(Proverbs 8:35–36)

I believe this article would be flawed if it did not clearly state the fate of ALL those who, in disagreement and rebellion, plot against the Creator. Such people are not few, and their cause will endure long enough… until a “final uprising” is launched.

And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city; and fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them.
And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet are; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
And death and hell were thrown into the lake of fire.
This is the second death.
And anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

(Revelation 20:9–10 / 14–15)

CREIO that should FINALIZE Speaking to you about my own expectations for the future… not to “make a drama” or, much less, to sadden you: 
Nowadays, so many are being murdered by widespread violence, from traffic accidents to "victims of society"; not to mention those who contract diseases of strange and suspicious origin... there are many ways the Lord can take me to be with Him, but I pray that, if no stupid accident or anything like that happens, I may only be able to smile at the moment of my beheading, shortly before seeing Him in person.

It is not triumphalism, it is not utopia… it is a promise made to all who have been called to serve the Lord Jesus Christ:

Truly, truly, I say to you, if anyone keeps my word, NEVER YOU WILL SEE DEATH.

(John 8:51)

And you… do you know your God or are you tolerant enough to “set faith aside”?

Paraphrasing the apostle Paul in Ephesians 6:23-24May grace and peace be with us all who love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity, now and forever!
